My journey to yoga began later in life, first through Bikram Yoga, diving head first into 200hr Teacher Training then immediately enrolling in 300hr training at Yoga Oasis with amazing teachers guiding me through my Advanced Training. I was asked many times what I would do once my certifications were completed? Even though I didn’t really have an answer, I began to realize keeping yoga “pure” while allowing it to unfold naturally was a priority and would eventually guide me to my true path. As an avid meditator for many years, I enjoyed the fact that yoga created a space allowing for body, mind and soul connection. In my exploration, I was invited to a Nia (Non-Impact Aerobics) class incorporating yoga with marital arts and dance. I immediately fell in love with Nia and find that it compliments my yoga practice beautifully. I teach to guide and offer a doorway to anyone who is curious about finding their true path by exploring their universe within so that they can live fully on and off the mat.
